Made in America

THEY FED US AMERICAN FOOD TODAY!!!! It all started when we walked into lunch and saw the normal Indian food. We started off with a nice plate of rice and egg curry when all of a sudden the cooks came up and said Veggie Burger? We immediately put our forks down and were served a veggie burger with french fries. Now this veggie burger wasn’t your typical American veggie burger. It was all made fresh in the kitchen and cooked to perfection. It was by far the best veggie burger I’ve ever had. Not sure if that’s because I haven’t had American food in a while or if it was because it was legitimately a good burger, but whatever the case was, it made my day.
Here’s a lovely picture of our meal.

Tonight we went on a little adventure and broke a few rules. We were getting a little stir crazy so we went on a walk after dark!!! This is a big step for us, sad I know.  We’ve been scared into sitting around the hostel at night from everyone back home. But now that we’re here we decided it was safe to go to places close to the college. We walked to the local ice cream store beside the college and then went on a nice walk around campus. Ice cream for about 30 cents and then a bit of exercise was the perfect way to end our day. It’s pretty sad that walking around campus made us as tired as it did. We obviously need to get out and exercise more.
