Parachute Pants

So I learned that Dr. Gurucharan has a VERY routine schedule every day. He begins by fitting bands for braces, does his rounds, begins a root canal, pops next door for an extraction, then continues with the rounds and root canal process all day. While he’s doing his rounds sometimes I get to spend some time with the assistants. They are so cute and friendly. They are just these little bubbly women who walk around and do what the dentist needs. Today they were getting a kick out of my little notepad that I take notes on. I think tonight I’m going to learn some Tamil so I can communicate with them better. As comical as our hand gestures are, it may be easier with some words involved.

One fun thing we did today was go pick up Ali’s pants from the tailor! She got our parachute pants turned from super parachute to baby parachute. Best part, it only costed $2.25 for 4 pairs! Crazy right? Whole new pants for $2.25. Mind. Blown.
